  I was alone when I travelled to Cusco and I managed to get a room at Pongo Hostal. The couple who greeted me instantly melted away my apprehensions. They were warm, friendly and gave me trips on how to get to the interesting places. They treat me like a friend and made sure I was comfortable. Since breakfast is free, I was treated to a delicious hearty breakfast with a good coffee. I like its location because it is not close to the noise of the city. The neighbourhood is friendly so no worry about coming in late with a shopping bag in tow.
