  Great location right by the main square, still quiet rooms. Very clean, spacious and pretty. colonial building. Breakfast with fresh fruit juice, coffee/tea, eggs and bread. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free wifi. Worked at least in my room but not necessarily in all, but at least in the common area. To get hot water in the shower takes a couple of minutes which seems pretty standard in Colombia.in places where there is hot water. Stayed here for a week in January 2012.

  There was no A/C in the whole hostel (though you stated that it was included in the price). They knew nothing of my reservation (though you'd taken a deposit). I had to open up my email account to show them the confirmation. They did not accept visa to pay for the 'remainder' of the cost. Your deposit was not a 'deposit' it was an additional expense (the hostel said that was for 'minihostels' and I had to pay the full amount, i.e. the deposit again to the hostel). Very confusing system for a customer who is very unlikely to use your booking system ever again.

  Great location on the main square. Delicious, simple breakfast every morning, though they do not start serving until 8, which can be too late if you are trying to meet a tour company in the morning. Very clean, simple rooms with HD TV and warm showers. No closets, just drawers. I reserved the room with a credit card on minihostels.com, but the hotel only accepts cash payments. The manager did not seem to know I was coming but was able to track down my reservation # eventually.

  Fuimos durante la semana, asi que no habia mucha gente. Tranquilo por la noche, buen personal y rico desayuno. Los mosquitos son una molestia, pero no es la culpa del hotel.

  No aceptan tarjetas de credito, asi que asegure que tenga efectivo listo. Ademas, el deposito no se bajaron del total. No este sorprendido si tenga que darles el total de la reserva. Ademas no hablen ingles.

  I primarily chose this place because of its location. Surprisingly I was impressed right away by the place. I got a nice cozy bedroom that has great view and which is so tranquil that sleep came easily. The location is perfect; I simply take on my shoes and stomp all over the city. Very good experience!

  Pensé que el Hotel Hospederia La Roca fue un alojamiento agradable. Ofrecieron habitaciones limpias y facilidades sencillas que fueron muy económicas.

  Un alojamiento lindo, con una ubicacion perfecto, aunque es un poco caro cuando no incluyen el desayuno. Sin embargo me gusto mucho.
