I love to run, and do so daily. My husband and I only run about 7 miles a day, and I'm certainly not a triathlete! We do cycle quite a bit though in the summer months.     Hi Debora,The Work and Travel J1 visa transfer to anhtoer visa would have to be approved prior to your expiration date on March 15 (so not the grace period) which doesn't leave you much time as the processing of US Visa transfers are not quick usually.So you may be better off applying for the new Internship J1 visa outside the US afterwards.I am not sure what country you are from so don't know whether you are able to come to the US as a tourist with or without a visa. However denials for any visa can effect your chances of being approved for a B1/B2 tourist visa if they think you are using it to work or stay in the US.Good Luck,CJ

    Hi Mik,Yes there are plenty of exepcienres of many visa types including the J1 visa if you read the many posts.If you are interested in the J1 visa Work and Travel program, look at sponsor organizations like CIEE, Intrax, Inter Exchange, etc. They are designated by the US Government as official sponsors.     monmichka:Well, I can speak for America here. Mexico and Canada are also in North America.Hotels during the hialdoy season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) are almost always solidly booked. And that's the wintertime here so it may not be the best time to travel unless you are looking for snow. Southwest Airlines is the best airline to fly in terms of delays and quick boarding. Go to expedia.com or orbitz.com. They usually have pretty good deals there. How ever you book your flight, make sure you print your boarding pass online. That way, you can board the plane first and choose the seat you want. As far as what to see, it depends on what you want to do. We have beautiful natural wonders in Arizona (Grand Canyon), Yellowstone (Wyoming). We have party cities, Miami, L.A. Vegas, New York. If you want to avoid the snow, the southern states, Texas, Florida, California all have very interesting sites to see, things to do and fascinating people to meet.Hope you have fun while you are here!!!References :

    Two hours of work for a night stay seems to be normal.Might be eaeisr at large hostels since they may have surplus bed space.Smaller hostels and those in popular places that are usually full might need bed revenue more than some cheap help, so they can pay the bills.Many small hostels in the British isles have closed.Some have reopened under private ownership and are associated with YHA reservation system.At some other locations the local town councils have helped to keep marginal hostels open for the important tourist business that helps everyone in the community.PGP of Santa Cruz, CA

    Can’t speak about Bogota, but I can for Cleveland. First off my sympathy to you for havnig to go to Cleveland. Secondly as far as the “Healthline,” a corrupt and inept government created a boondoggle that only helped enrich those who found favor to help build the monstrosity. (Read about the concrete already failing and the mobsters who supplied it.) It travels from an abandoned commercial district (i.e. downtown Cleveland) through an abandoned light industrial zone, via a burned out ghetto ending up in cultural oasis that no one can afford to patronize anymore. The people that live along the line ride the bus to stay warm if they’ve had the power turned off. The plans to build a “health mart” at the old convention center are as stupid as building a BRT through the poorest parts of town. The only good sign these days is that the FBI has arrested about 100% of the old county government hacks and they’ve elected in a county council which is structured to have more accountability to the voters. Arlington has a much better chance of success. The line is planned to run from highly populated areas through a revitalized commercial corridor. County government if far from corrupt and we are blessed with high incomes and low unemployment.

    I have been researching trynig to find an answer as to why at night for about the past 4 or 5 months the sky no longer gets dark until are midnight. There is now a faint red glow across the whole sky. I live in Southern Louisiana (the deep south) Almost to the gulf. I have never seen it like this before. I've gotten all kinds of reasons to what could be the cause, but none make sense. We have also been getting these errie engine-type sounds. If you have ever seen Doctor Who and know the sound the Tardis makes it reminds me of that but faint mostly. They only happen late at night and we have all heard them in my family. They have been spraying chem trails regularly now during the day. We have had No winter here except for maybe a few days total where it got cold. It has reached 80 degrees on some days around here from Dec. to Now and though we are used to mild winters I do not ever remember one like this. The plant life is confused, the animals are confused. We had a massive die off of small fish a few months back (bout the time the sky starting getting red at night) I went out back where our bayou is and it like a road had been built when I realized I was looking at thousands of dead fish I was sick. Then we've had a whole flock of birds just fall out of the sky, (they didn't commit suicide there was no trauma except the little they recieved from the impact of the fall.) This is really getting insane and our government just continues to lie.
